Careers With Eternal Impact

Build Something Better With Us From the Beginning

As a school launch, we have a lot to do. We have a lot to change. We need people who are excited to build with us. We are seeking educators who see teaching as a calling, not merely a career. People who love children for who they are becoming in Christ, not just for the work they produce. This may be a seasoned classroom teacher longing for a more intentional, Christ-centered model of education, or a homeschool parent ready to bring years of faithful, thoughtful instruction into a school community. What unites them is vision: a desire to shape hearts and minds, to cultivate wonder, wisdom, and virtue, and to help form students who live Coram Deo.

A CDCS educator loves Jesus above all, is actively involved in a local church, and understands that all truth is God’s truth. They are eager to join a like-minded community, to invest deeply in students, and to help reimagine what Christian education can be when it is grounded in Scripture, rich in literature, attentive to the whole child, and driven by a passion to see the next generation walk faithfully with Christ.

Characteristics of Our Staff

Want to know what it takes to thrive as part of the CDCS team? We are looking for people who can help us realize an exciting vision for how education can be different - be more. We are looking for people who are more than just teachers - they are called to transform lives. We are looking for faithful ambassadors of Christ who want to bring a Biblical worldview to the classroom and beyond. We are looking for people who invest in students, not just show up to work. Our staff are people who are constantly growing in relationship with Jesus and exhibit the fruit of that growth. We are looking for people who work in partnership, not just with school staff but with parents and the community. Obviously there are typical “teacher” characteristics needed, like classroom management and student confidentiality, a passion for teaching, and strong communication skills. But above all, we need people who embrace opportunities for growth and innovation.

Above all, we’re looking for:

A Coram Deo Educator walks alongside each student, modeling Christlike character and spiritual maturity. They invest in personal relationships built on trust, respect, and compassion, recognizing each student as uniquely created by God. With prayerful guidance and wisdom, the mentor nurtures the student’s academic curiosity, spiritual growth, and emotional development.

  • Biblical Worldview: They integrate Scripture into every lesson, helping students see all truth as God’s truth.
  • Integrity & Honesty: They demonstrate consistent, ethical behavior and inspire students to do the same.
  • Discipleship: They foster spiritual formation by encouraging students to love, follow, and seek Jesus in all things.
  • Personalized Care: They recognize individual strengths and challenges, providing differentiated support that honors each child’s God-given gifts.

Coram Deo Educators cultivate a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where diversity is celebrated as a reflection of God’s family. They serve as peacemakers who resolve conflicts with grace and wisdom, fostering unity and community in the school.

  • Connection & Unity in Diversity: They build genuine relationships among students, staff, and families, valuing diverse backgrounds while uniting all under their shared identity in Christ.
  • Emotional and Social Growth: They teach and model kindness, self-control, empathy, and forgiveness, helping students develop Christlike maturity.
  • Justice and Mercy: They actively oppose bullying, racism, and injustice, championing a culture of respect and love.
  • Clear Communication: They act as bridges between students, parents, and leadership – facilitating open, honest dialogue for the best outcomes.

Driven by a passion to honor God through excellence, a Coram Deo Educator inspires students to pursue their God-given potential with diligence, creativity, and joy. They challenge students to develop academically, physically, spiritually, and socially, equipping them to impact the world for Christ.

  • Commitment to Excellence: They set high academic and behavioral standards, encouraging students to do all things as unto the Lord.
  • Ingenuity & Innovation: They engage students with creative teaching methods, integrating technology and diverse learning styles.
  • Service-Oriented Mindset: They motivate students to put faith into action by serving others with humility and love.
  • Lifelong Learning: They continually seek professional growth and self-improvement, modeling a heart of curiosity and dedication.
Live Fully. Live Faithfully.
Live Before the Face of God.
